This month, the Accelerator Member Spotlight goes to Tim Hoffman !
After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2012, Tim served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. He has over nine years of experience leading teams in highly complex and stressful environments across the globe, including Afghanistan and Korea. Tim’s proven ability to develop high performing, multicultural, and cross-functional teams to accomplish complex objectives is impressive and his strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills from serving in logistics, operations, and advisory roles are big contributors to his recent real estate success.
Tim currently lives in Texas and decided to join the Real Estate Investing Accelerator after a friend sent him an informational email about the course. We’re so glad he did! Tim has always been interested in the idea of investing, but had no real estate experience prior to joining the course apart from witnessing his parents success with a rental property. He joined the course with lots of questions and was pleased to find a network of like-minded individuals who could spur him on and point him in the right direction.
Since joining the course, Tim has been unstoppable. He recently closed on his first investment property and hopes to close on a second property in the coming weeks. Over the next five years, Tim wants to double or triple the number of investment properties he owns in order to generate equity and cash flow that will enable him to take down more properties. His goal is to become financially free within the next 10-15 years. At the rate Tim is going, we have no doubts he’ll get there sooner rather than later!
Dedication to his team and Tim’s ability to overcome fear of the deal is beginning to make us think we can definitely learn a thing or two from West Point grads! Joking aside, we’re so impressed with Tim’s decisive action and his willingness to apply himself to every task put in front of him. With that mindset, his success is guaranteed!
